Students receive awards for academic achievement

Fairfield Elementary School’s students were excited about the trophies, school blazers and field trips they earned.


Fairfield Magnet School for Science and Mathematics was among the highest represented with high achieving students.

Kelly Miller Elementary students, like those of other schools in the district, will receive incentives for achievement. Many schools are including educational field trips as part of the incentive for students to strive to do their best on standardized tests.


FCHS student Brandi Bell was among those honored at the board meeting. Bell was elected Superintendent of Education at this year’s Girl’s State.
