WINNSBORO — A jury declared a mistrial last week in the trial of Stacy Ramon Hunter, 17, of 4417 Hawthorne Ave. in Columbia.

Hunter faced charges of murder related to the 2011 death of Rodrickous Ramon Wood of 169 Flora Circle. The jury deliberated but could not reach a verdict.

Assistant Sixth Circuit Solicitor Riley Maxwell confirmed that means the case once more is a pending case. Maxwell declined to comment on the case, noting the ongoing litigation.

Attorney Michael Duncan represented Hunter in the trial. Judge Howard King presided over the trial.

A new trial date has not been set.
