MYRTLE BEACH — Fairfield Central basketball player Keith Workman put an exclamation point at the end of his senior season with an impressive performance at the Carolinas All Star Basketball Class in Myrtle Beach on March 22.

Workman was selected to represent South Carolina in the all star game as one of 10 players to take on the 10 best from North Carolina.

Although the South Carolina squad fell to North Carolina 102-90, Workman was one of just four players to crack double digit scoring on his team.

Workman finished with 10 points off 4-5 shooting, including 2-3 from beyond the arc.

He also grabbed two rebounds and dished out one assist in 24 minutes of play.

Workman joined elite company earlier this year when he eclipsed the 1,000-point mark in his career in the third game of the regular season.
