The Fairfield County School District will delay the start of school for two hours on Tuesday morning, January 7 due to the extreme cold temperatures that are forecast. According to Superintendent J.R. Green, the potential for impact on bus transportation and cold temperatures led to the decision.

Richard Winn Academy plans to open school at its regular time Tuesday morning with no delay.
