LAKE CITY — Richard Winn dropped a region game 44-21 to Carolina Friday night. The Eagles were tied at 6 after the first quarter and trailed 22-13 at the half. They remained in striking distance in the third quarter trailing 30-21. From there it appeared a comeback could be in the making as the Eagles were driving, but the Bobcats wrapped their paws around the Eagle ball carriers and put the game away for good in the fourth quarter. For a full write up of the game, see Tuesday’s edition of The Herald Independent.
