RWA gears up for playoffs

WINNSBORO — Both Richard Winn Academy’s varsity basketball programs made the cut for the SCISA state tournament.

The Lady Eagles earned the number one seed and will play eight-seeded Dorchester tonight (Feb. 21) at 6 p.m. at Heathwood Hall.

RWA boys earned an at-large bid as the eighth seed and will play top-seeded Charleston Collegiate on Saturday (Feb. 22) at 2:30 p.m. at Pinewood Prep.

The field of 16 will come to a head with both state final games being held March 1.
