Ridgeway merchants and the community used First Friday event to celebrate patriotism and Americana.
People braved the July heat to share in stress relieving activities, shopping, food and more.
A Chevrolet car show including Corvettes, a 1957 Chevy, and several Camaros was a popular event.
Shoppers enjoyed special sales in area stores as well as free apple pie.
Turnout was less than for other First Friday events, but organizers hope the hot summer temperature was the reason why.
They look forward to more thematic First Friday events in the months to come.
