WINNSBORO — The Academic Student of the Week for The School District of Fairfield County is Deanna Bass, a sixth-grade student at Fairfield Elementary School. Deanna exemplifies what it means to be a leader on a daily basis by demonstrating the Life Skills of cooperation, friendship, problem-solving and sense of humor. She is appreciated by her peers for being an additional helper in the classroom as a peer-tutor. Deanna can always be found putting forth her personal best in order to complete any task put before her. She enjoys riding bikes and playing golf. Deanna loves to sing and listen to music. She is a Gifted and Talented student, peer tutor, and library intern at Fairfield Elementary School. She also enjoys singing in her church choir. She is the daughter of Johnny and Katherine Bass.
