Sha’da Byrd who is a graduate from Fairfield Central High class of 2011, was named to the president’s list at the University of South Carolina for the Fall 2011 and the Spring 2012 semester.
The president’s list consists of students who earned a 4.0 GPA for the semester.
Byrd also received an award for academic excellence for having the highest average in USC’s TRIO program.
The TRIO program provides assistance to low-income and first-generation college students in academic, financial and cultural skills and goals.
