First Church of the Nazarene offers week of community events

The Catalyst Youth Ministry of the First Church of the Nazarene will conduct a week of mission projects in the community starting Sunday.

ISERVE will include various services including house repair, ministry, and honoring some special people in the community

Monday will be a special ladies evening which includes a wonderful meal and the featured entertainment of Candee Brakefield, Christian comedian.

This ladies “Night of Hope” will begin at 6:30 p.m. and ladies of all ages are invited to attend. There is no cost but reservations are required. Please call the church office at 635-4463 or 803-237-2569 to reserve a seat.

Thursday night will be a special night of honor as the church’s teens serve the police officers, firemen and paramedics of our community. A meal will be served at 7 p.m. There is no cost for this evening but reservations are required.

Firemen are asked to call Greg Gerber at 635-8416, police officers can reserve at their precinct and paramedics can make reservations at 633-2107. The church will also be happy to deliver to those who are on duty and unable to attend.

On July 27, the will honor the senior adults of our community. There will be a lunch served and a special concert of southern gospel music by The Sharpes.

There is no cost for this special event but a reservation is required. Call the church office at 635-4463 or 422-4246 to reserve a seat.
