Workers hustle to get new shingles applied to this roof before the heat of the day approaches in Jenkinsville. Glenn’s station has been there since 1976. Barbara Glenn, wife of owner Adrian Glenn, said the roof was old enough to need repairs. After it suffered damage from a summer hail storm the decision was made to re-roof the facility. She said the store is repainting its ceiling inside, too. They also have had to repave the parking area a few times due to heavy truck traffic, but the Glenns say they are thankful for the increased business sent their way from workers at the V.C. Summer nuclear plant.
