The Wednesday Sept. 5 meeting of the Jenkinsville Town Council was canceled.
Due to the town hall moving to a new location, the facility was not ready to host this month’s meeting.
Mayor Gregory Ginyard said delays with having the power turned on the facility, which is on the same road as the former town hall, are the reason the meeting had to be canceled.
There are no plans to make up the meeting at this time.
