WINNSBORO – A place to nurture the body and soul is what LHD Fitness is to owner Lynn Hewitt.

Hewitt decided last month to open her gym at 419 N. Congress St. to her clients full time after many years. The gym offers coaching for living a healthy life daily, by offering group sessions as well as one-on-one training. The gym is family oriented and Hewitt said she has husbands and wives who work out together. Her hope is to offer a spouses boot camp at some point.

Hewitt prides herself in pushing her clients up and never down as she understands everyone who enters the gym is on a different level when they walk in the door. With more than 26 years as a fitness instructor and trainer under her belt, she take pride in teaching those who work out in her facility how to enjoy the ride to a “healthier you.”
