The Pelion Panthers breezed by the Fairfield Central Lady Griffins in volleyball action on Tuesday.
The Griffins suffered a narrow defeat in the first match, losing 23-25.
The second match proved more decisive with the Panthers earning a 15-25 victory.
Pelion closed the door with a 22-25 performance in the final match. Pelion improved to 5-3 with the victory while the Lady Griffins dropped to 1-6.
Their Thursday match against the North Central Knights (3-1) occurred after press time for this issue of the Herald Independent.
