WINNSBORO — Ruby Maybelle LeGrand Poole, 84, widow of Clarence William Poole, died Saturday, January 19, 2013 after a brief illness. Born in Fairfield County, she was the daughter of the late Henry Otis and Jessie Collins LeGrand. She was retired from Fairfield Manufacturing and was a member of Stephen Greene Baptist Church and the Allie Mae Mims Sunday School Class.

Survivors include two sons, William A. (Buddy) Poole and Susan of Seneca, Dennis E. Poole of Columbia; two daughters, Sarah Peay of Winnsboro, Janice Humphries and Tommy of Winnsboro; one sister, Mae Lewis of St. George, Utah; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Mrs. Poole was predeceased by a grandson, Nicholas Peay.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at Stephen Greene Baptist Church, officiated by the Reverend Dr. Michael Cockrell. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Monday, January 21, 2013 at Pope Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to the Building Fund of Stephen Greene Baptist Church, 500 7th Street, Winnsboro, SC 29180.
