JENKINSVILLE — Residents of Jenkinsville will have opportunity to come out and make their voices heard at a town hall style meeting between themselves and Fairfield County School Superintendent J.R. Green.
The meeting will take place from 6 p.m.-7 p.m. on Oct. 3 at the McCrorey Liston School of Technology.
The goal is to provide residents throughout the county with another venue to air concerns about Fairfield County schools or to ask questions of the superintendent.
During the hour-long meeting, Green wants to discuss the successes and the challenges facing the school system.
“My goal is to establish a culture of competence, collaboration, trust and respect. In order to accomplish these goals, your support is a vital part of the blueprint,” Green said. “Join me to discuss the successes and challenges in the Fairfield County School District.”
According to Fairfield County School District Office Public Relations Manager Jackie Wallace, this is the first in a series of town hall style meetings between the superintendent and the community.
Residents are encouraged to attend by visiting McCrorey Liston Elementary School at 1978 Highway 215 South in Blair.
