Beach Music, flip flops and good times will be on display in Winnsboro on Friday as folks head to Gazebo Park for Shaggin’ in the Street.
Sponsored by the Town of Winnsboro, the event lasts from 8:30 to 11 p.m.
The Flashback Party Band, a regular group in Winnsboro, has been booked for the night of dancing.
This is the second year for Shaggin’ in the Street and organizers hope to build upon the success of last year’s event while providing wholesome entertainment for the community.
Come to the clock tower and get dialed in on an evening of dancing fun with the South Carolina state dance, the shag.
Organizers encourage people to bring lawn chairs, wear dancing shoes and come have a fun evening.
