WINNSBORO- This week we wrap up our yard of the week series with the home of Ron and Pam Smith.

The Smith’s who have lived in their home for 11 years have a yard that is filled with beautiful flowers, trees, greenery, and family history.

Their yard has walnut trees, fig trees, and pecan trees that produce each year.

One highlight in the front yard is a bed frame that belonged to their son that now contains flowers, making for a real flower bed.

Pam Smith said, “We recycle everything.”

There is also a wheel barrel and bird feeder that was once Ron Smith’s great-grandfather’s that now calls the yard home.

The Smith’s have flowers in almost every part of their yard from the porch to the pool side. Some of their flowers and plants include snake plants, ivy, marigolds, peace lilies, and aloe plants.

The Smith’s have one son, one grandson, and share their home with the cats they rescue.

Congratulations to Ron and Pam Smith this week yard of the week winners.

Editor’s Note: This will conclude our yard of the week series until springtime; we would like to thank everyone who contributed across the county in making this such a successful part of The Herald.
