On June 8th, the Executive Committee of the Fairfield Democratic Party sponsored a meet & greet of Fairfield County candidates for the primary elections held the following Tuesday.

The offices under consideration included Fairfield County Sheriff, Clerk of Court, and District 41 Statehouse Representative.

In attendance were the members of the Fairfield County Democratic Party Executive Committee including Chairwoman Tangee Jacobs, First Vice Chair Bill Scott, Second Vice Chair Kashena Morgan, Third Vice Chair Eugene Holmes, Treasurer Norma Branham, Committee members Ricky Johnson, Annie McDaniel, and Secretary Chris Cherry. Many of our citizens attended in a show of support and solidarity for Fairfield County and the democratic process.

Candidates for office in attendance included Statehouse candidates Mary Gail Douglas, Paul Dove, Annie McDaniel, and E. Sutton. Also attending were County Sheriff candidates Will Montgomery and Herman Young.
