WINNSBORO – Seniors are invited to attend a free day of fun, fellowship, food and entertainment when Fairfield Memorial Hospital sponsors another Senior Connection Day from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday.
“We had approximately 400 seniors to join us for our first Senior Connection Day and everyone had a great time,” said Mike Williams, CEO of Fairfield Memorial Hospital. “Our seniors are very important to us and we are inviting all our seniors to come out and enjoy the day with us again.”
The event will feature about 45 vendors to talk with seniors about their products or services. It also contains bingo, cornhole games and prizes.
Health screenings for cholesterol and blood sugar will be available as will body mass indexing and weight checks.
Flu vaccinations will be available for those who would like to have one.
Seniors should bring their Medicare cards so Fairfield Memorial Hospital can file for their flu shot charges.
Registration will be at the front door.
A free lunch will be provided and attendees will receive a tote bag and a sun visor.
Seniors who did not attend the first Senior Connection Day should call the hospital at 635-5548 to register.
Seniors who attended the first event are already registered.
