RIDGEWAY — A boil water advisory has been issued for residents of the Town of Ridgeway until further notice. Residents who receive their water from the municipality should boil the water one minute before drinking it or cooking with it. The water advisory came about after the system experienced reduced water pressure. According to the town, there were no line breaks but the drop in pressure caused the DHEC mandated advisory to go into effect.
