WINNSBORO — Business is going on as usual at the Fairfield County Judicial Court building this week. This comes after a rank odor caused the evacuation of that building last Thursday for what was a gas leak. Deputy County Administrator Davis Anderson said that a gas line leak occurred approximately 20 feet below the building. “From there the gas found a channel and was seeping into the county’s building,” he said. The leak was located around 8:30 p.m. Thursday and Anderson said the court building was open for normal hours on Friday.
