WINNSBORO — The Lady Eagles softball team at Richard Winn saw their season come to an end last Friday night. The Lady Eagles were eliminated in the first round of the SCISA tournament with a loss to Robert E. Lee Academy (10-1) and to PeeDee Academy (12-4).

Richard Winn’s head coach, Rhetta Taylor, has faith the playoff experience will be positive for her players despite the early exit.

“The tournament will be great experience for us,” Taylor said. “This group of girls has worked extremely hard to get to this point.”
