The Richard Winn Academy Eagles baseball team was knocked out of the SCISA Class AA state play-offs after suffering two losses to Calhoun Academy on Friday.

The Eagles lost the first game which ended in a score of 7-3, getting six hits, making two errors and leaving seven on base. Eagles players who got hits were pitcher Patrick Pope, who was also hit by a pitch.

Austin Knox, who was officially one for two, with two walks and driving in one RBI; Colie Rowe, who hit a double and got one RBI; Nic Mills, who was one for three with a homerun; Dalton Haney, who was one for two; and Brian Parker, who was one for one and scored one run.

The second game was more one-sided, ending after three innings with a score of 20-1.

During the game, Patrick Pope was one for one, scoring the only run of the game.

Corey Davis was also one for one, and he drove in the only run.

Alex Douglas was also one for one.

The losing pitcher for the second game was Sidney Edenfield.
