The Fairfield County Republican Party welcomed special guest Congressman Mick Mulvaney to their ribbon cutting on this past Monday.
The ribbon cutting was the kickoff of the new downtown headquarters in Winnsboro.
“This is the first time that the Fairfield County GOP has ever had a headquarters in the town,” said Kevin Thomas, chairman of the Fairfield County Republican Party.
The sidewalk was lined with supporters and guests to witness this historic moment for a party who has made great strides in organizing here in the county.
After the ribbon cutting members of the party gathered at Honeysuckle Acres for a fundraiser with proceeds going to the local party.
