Police charge three in burglary
by Kevin Boozer
Staff Writer

The Winnsboro Department of Public Safety has arr rested and charged three persons in connection to a burglary that occurred at a JB’s Service Station on East College Street.

Daryus Arnaz Cloud, 17, of 219 Crawford St., Winnsboro and Darrell Kennan Clark, 48, of 702 Hudson St. Winnsboro were arrested in the case. Charges also were filed for Tyrell Guinyard, 17, of 604 Hudson St., Winnsboro. The men were charged with second degree burglary.

Guinyard already had been arrested for Saturday, July 7 burglary of the Speedee Wok but Winnsboro Public Safety Chief Freddie Lorick said the investigation showed that Guinyard was implicated in JB’s Service Station case as well.

The business owner stated he was out of town during the burglary of his service station.

When he left on July 2, he said the establishment was secure, however he returned on July 9 to find that his store had been broken into.

He reported that the bottom of his cash register, a paint spray gun, a gumball machine, and some hand tools were missing.

According to Lorick, the investigation continues into other break-ins that occurred along Congress Street during that same time period, including the break-in at a computer repair store next door to the Speedee Wok.

Lorick said more arrests are expected as the burglary investigations continue.
