SC frogs, the high-tech global economy and you On the corner of my desk is a small 6×5 inch plastic box with some rocks, water, a bamboo shoot and two frogs named John and Calhoun. These two frogs, and the two guys that gave them to me, are South Carolina pioneers in the new global economy of the 21st century.
