Mrs. Willie Robbins Ewing, age 100, wife of the late Harvey Morgan Ewing, died Thursday, September 13, 2007, at the NHC Health Care of Anderson.

Born in Lockhart, S.C., on September 21, 1907, Mrs. Ewing was a daughter of the late Banks McIlwain Robbins and Alice Peay Robbins. She was a homemaker and a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her son, Dr. Bill Ewing, and his wife, Anne, of Anderson, S.C.; daughter, Elaine Jones, and her husband, Harold, of Winnsboro, S.C.; one brother and three sisters; and grandchildren, Billy Ewing Jr. and wife, Nancy Ewing, of Anderson, S.C., Deborah Bonin and husband, Tom Bonin, of Anderson, S.C., Harriett Wylie and husband, Dr. Bill Wylie, of Greenville, S.C., and Rhyne Jones and wife, Martha Jones, of Anderson, S.C. Also surviving are nine great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, David Philip Ewmg.

A graveside service was held on Friday, September 14, 2007, at 3 p.m. at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Anderson, S.C., with the Reverend Paul Frey and Dr. C.J. Lupo officiating.

The family received friends immediately following the graveside service.

The family was at the residence of Dr. and Mr. B.R. Ewing, 139 Bradle Park, Anderson, S.C.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Capital Improvement Fund of Trinity United Methodist Church, 1809 N. Main Street, Anderson, SC 29621.
