Funeral services for Charles Junior Dove, age 80, were held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, November 15, 2007 at Pope Funeral Home with burial that followed at his personal property, 177 Dove Lane, Ridgeway, SC. Heyward Christensen conducted services. The family received friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, November 14, 2007 at Pope Funeral Home.

Mr. Dove died Saturday, November 10, 2007. Son of the late John William and Anne Barfield Dove, he was born May 14, 1927 in Fairfield County, SC. Mr. Dove is a veteran of the US Army during World War II and was a member of the Ridgeway Masonic Lodge.

Mr. Dove is survived by daughter Charlene Dove Lucas and her husband Robert of Ridgeway; sister Louise Bairefoot of Columbia; two grandchildren, Robbie Lucas and Joy Weisner and her husband Gregg, both of Conway, SC; and two great grandchildren, Will Weisner and Breanna Weisner of Conway.
