Margaret Sanders hosted the November Woodbine Garden Club on Saturday morning with a Brunch. Ten members and one guest, Hallie Foster of Spartanburg, enjoyed a delicious meal consisting of a fruit cup, quiche, dropped cheese biscuits, muffins, and coffee, Most business was dispensed with except plans for the December Luncheon. Final plans later.
Members of the American Legion Auxiliary entertained the Legioneers on Monday night with a carry in supper.
The tables were laden with delicious food, including desserts. With Adelaide Brooks at the piano and Elaine Castles and Jack Meyer leading the singing. Many songs of the different branches of the military were sung.
