The family of Mr. Horace "Bubba" Gunter, Jr., age 55, received friends at the home of his sister, Rose Murphy, 42 Disc Road, Ridgeway, SC, Wednesday, January 16, 2008 from 6 to 8 P.M. A private burial will follow at a later date.

Mr. Gunter died on Thursday, January 10, 2008, in Ridgeway, SC. Son of Horace Gunter, Sr. and the late Nancy Peeler Gunter, he was born on October 2, 1952, in Fairfield County. He was a carpenter and painter.

In addition to his father, Mr. Gunter is survived by four brothers, Marion W. Gunter, Terry W. Gunter, Stevie Gunter, and Keith Gunter and his wife Pamela, all of Ridgeway; and two sisters, Jeanette Nixon and her husband Jerry, and Rose G. Murphy and her husband Ronnie, all of Ridgeway. He was predeceased by his mother and one sister, Debbie Anne Gunter.
