Funeral services for Kathleen Branham Pate, age 80, will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, February 7, 2008 at Washington Street Baptist Church conducted by the Reverend Lloyd Sanders and assisted by Reverend Bill Morgan. Burial will follow in the Union Memorial Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Pope Funeral Home.

Born in Winnsboro, October 10, 1927, Mrs. Pate was the daughter of the late Ernest T. and Daisy Hagood Branham. Mrs. Pate died in Palmetto Health Richland on Sunday, February 3, 2008. She was a member of Washington Street Baptist Church.

Surviving are one daughter, Barbara P. Gunn and her husband, William of Charlotte, NC; three brothers, Ernest T. Branham, Jr. of Lexington, Robert Faye Branham of Winnsboro, and Donald Branham of Lugoff; and three sisters, Elizabeth Bowen of Lugoff, Laurie Lathan of Great Falls, and Diane Barkley of Elgin; and one grandson, Geoffrey I. Gunn of Charlotte.

In addition to her parents and her husband, Walter Eugene Pate, Mrs. Pate was predeceased by a sister, Geneva Gay and a brother, Daniel Branham.
