A Patriotic Celebration is planned at Stephen Greene Baptist Church on June 29th. The Stephen Greene Baptist Church at 500 Seventh Street, Winnsboro is sponsoring a Patriotic Celebration by a community-wide mass choir on Sunday evening, June 29th at 6:00 p.m. in their church sanctuary.

All area singers are invited to join this choir now in rehearsal each Sunday afternoon from 4:00-5:30 p.m. in the sanctuary choir loft.

The 30 minute presentation is entitled God Bless the USA and will feature a 50-plus mass choir with a DVD video projected above the choir onto a 9x 12 foot screen.

All servicemen and women present will be honored during this presentation. The deadline for choir member registration is Sunday, May 18th.

Voice part CD's will be provided to all singers to aid their learning.

The Director of this choir is Byron McCarty, Minister of Music & Senior Adults at Stephen Greene. Mrs. Bea Cockrell is the rehearsal accompanist.
