Born in Fairfield County, SC, she was a daughter of the late George B. and Annie Yarborough Hagood, Sr.
Mrs. Vaughn was executive secretary for Poe Hardware and was a member of First Baptist Church Greenville.
Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Becky and Lance Gallegos of Arlington, Texas; and two sisters, Ethel Edwards of Travelers Rest, and Nell Cooper of Houston, Texas.
A memorial service will be Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at Remembrance Chapel, Woodlawn Memorial Park, with the Rev. Dr. Baxter Wynn officiating.
The Mackey Mortuary served the Vaughn family.
