This community choir is composed of singers from various churches in the Winnsboro area and rehearsals are on Sunday afternoons from 4-5:30 p.m. in the church’s sanctuary at 500 7th Street in Winnsboro
The 30-minute musical will be presented on Sunday evening, June 29 at 6 p.m. in the church’s sanctuary.
All singers are to purchase their music books for $5 and either an inexpensive scarf or bowtie to complement their black and white outfits that they already have: long-sleeved white blouse and black skirt of slack for the ladies and long-sleeved white dress shirts and black slacks for the men.
Practice voice part CDs are provided to aid each singer in learning the parts.
Accompanying the choir will be a full-color DVD projected onto a 9x12 foot screen above their heads. The sanctuary will be patriotically decorated in red, white and blue. All servicemen and women present will be recognized and honored during the presentation.
This musical honors our county, its flag, our service people and our God.
All are invited to be present for this celebration and local churches are asked to send their singers now to join others in both the preparation and presentation of this musical tribute to both God and country.
