It determines whether we continue through our daily lives as a successful person, or it has brought our lives to a screeching halt. Despite this horrible thing we call failure, there is a bright and shining light called success that can arise from it.
For example, a track runner has finally gained way to a national track meet. However, the runner loses nationals to a state champion runner by only a fraction of a second.
The failure in this situation is the loss the runner has experienced.
Despite this failure, the runner has succeeded in numerous ways. The runner has succeeded in becoming a champion for his or her hometown. He or she has become known as one of the best runners in the nation, and finally, the runner has beaten the odds in becoming a great runner on the national level.
By this example, today’s young people must overcome failure and its obstacles in order to become the great and successful people we are meant to be in the world.
We must not let one failure bring and end to our lives. Instead, we must take into consideration an optimistic view upon our failures.
We must take a look into the brighter side of things instead of looking at what we may call a dark abyss. We must not let each other fall helplessly into this failure which is the dark abyss.
Instead, we must be the ladder lifting those who have already fallen.
