On June 14, 2008, Diamond M. Moore volunteered at the 2008 Princess Workshop for the second year, sponsored by Crystal Garrett, who at the time of the Princess Workshop was Miss South Carolina.

The Princess Workshop is designed to make little girls with special needs feel like a Princess.

Activities included making necklaces, getting their fingernails and toenails polished a color of their choice. The little Princesses were given gift bags.

Also in attendance and volunteering their time at the Princess Workshop were Erica Dunlap, who was Miss America in 2004, and Danielle Wilson, the current Miss Whitmire.

Erica read a story to the little girls before crowning them. After the crowning, everyone enjoyed a wonderful reception.

It was a very rewarding and exciting event for Diamond to be able to work with such special little girls and to meet and work with the former Miss America and Miss South Carolina.

Accompanying Diamond to the Princess Workshop were Talesha Seibles and Nikki Young.
