Do You Remember?

Do you remember sitting in the stands at Williams-Brice getting soaking wet as the Fairfield Central Griffin football team won their first of two consecutive state titles?

Or enduring freezing cold temperatures as they won their second? Do you remember being among those cheering on the Griffin basketball team as they clinched the state championship title in '98?

If you do, you just might be a member of the graduating class of 1998.

Do you remember the dance team taking the stage for their first production?

Wiping away tears as "Harmony" sang at graduation? How about all those papers assigned by Mr. Glenn? OK, now I know I've got your attention.

Who could forget running into half of your class at the public library the night before one of those monstrous papers were due?

Do you remember the many other teachers who touched our lives everyday? Mr. Trapp, Ms. McGuirt, Ms. Gunter, Mr. Cauley, Ms. Boulware, Ms. Platt, Ms. Whitfield, Ms. Smith, Ms. Mitchell, Mme. Bencheikh, Ms. Chiles, Mr. Dukes, Ms. Lewis, Mr. Martin, Mr. Mazyck, Coach Starks, Coach "G"....the list goes on and on.

Do you remember...the day when the hottest thing happening in town was Walmart's Grand Opening...come on, admit it, you know you were there!

The many times we sat in Ms. Sharpe's guidance office looking for help with schedules, college, and anything else we might need.

Trying to avoid spending time in Mr. Corley's office. After school band practices, cheerleading practices, sports practices, club meetings. Who could forget the many memories we made those four years we spent at Fairfield Central High School?

Well, here is your chance to relive all of those "glory days"! The class of 1998 is having their 10 year class, or family as we think of it, reunion. Can you believe it has been 10 years?

The reunion, which will include a barbeque lunch, evening banquet, and dance party, will be held on August 9, 2008.
