This week’s yard of the week took us to the Fairfield-Chester county line.

The first home when you enter the county heading towards Highway 200, the home of Florance Toole can’t be missed.

From the beautiful, handmade flower boxes filled with madiba, roses, and Gerber daisy, to the flag pool, there is so much to see.

Toole, who is now 89-years-old, has lived in the home for 57 years. She has always enjoyed having a well-manicured yard.

Around every corner was something new at the Toole home from hind flower boxes to a backyard pond that the family uses for fishing.

She is thankful to have her son to cut the yard and her daughter, Marilyn Black, who attends to all the flowers.

Congratulations to Florance Toole, this week’s yard of the week honoree.
