Fairfield County School District 2009-2010 Pre-Registration Information

The School District of Fairfield County will be holding pre-registration for the upcoming 2009-2010 school year.

Registration will take place at the school in your area for elementary (K-6) and child development students (3 & 4 year olds).

Registration will also take place at the middle and high school.

All students who plan to attend school in Fairfield County for the 2009-2010 school year must register. See schedule below.

Registration for continuing K-12 students: March 2-6, 2009 (Information will be distributed through the schools.)

Pre-registration for CD, 3 & 4 year old students: March 2-27, 2009

Determination of Pre-Kindergarten students will be based on availability of funding and space.

The School District of Fairfield County will send a letter of confirmation to the parents of the students who are accepted within 10 business days of the closing of registration.

If a student is currently attending school out of his/her attendance zone and/or wishes to attend school out of zone for the upcoming year, an in-district transfer request must be submitted.

All requests will be reviewed by the district office administration and approved based on the availability of space in the schools.

The School District of Fairfield County will send a letter of confirmation to the parents of the students who are requesting the in-district transfer within 10 business days of the closing of the in-district transfer date, May 29, 2009.

In-district transfer requests: March 2-May 29, 2009 Please note that your requests MUST be received within this time frame.
