If you are looking for something to do tonight, journey down to Ridgeway for their monthly First Friday celebration.

Local shops will be open late with deals and specials.

The Cotton Yard Market will be open until 8 p.m. in conjunction with the tax free weekend. At the Cotton Yard customers can enjoy paying no sales tax on all items, not just on school supplies.

Across the street, Over the Top will be celebrating with half off everything and 60 percent off hats.

Over the Top will also be honoring our educators with a back to school classroom gift. Educators must show their current school ID to receive the gift.

After you are done with your shopping stop by The Thomas Company “Laura’s Tea Room”, where they will have hot dogs and cupcakes and they will pay your sales tax on your purchase.

So, for an evening of shopping and dining in a historic town, make your way to Ridgeway tonight for First Friday.
