On July 15, New Life Worship Center held its annual worship service and dinner to fellowship and serve a home cooked dinner for the Salkehatchie Service Group at the Armory. Inspirational words were spoken by Evangelist Sylvia Staten and inspirational singing was done by Abram Staten and the group All For Christ.
The Salkehatchie group has come to serve the Winnsboro community for 23 years and New Life Worship Center has prepared this meal in an attempt to say “thank you” for caring about our community each year. This year New Life served the largest group they have had since their beginning this Salkehatchie Group. There were 230 youth and adults that volunteered their services and time to help make our community a better place to live.
New Life would like to thank all those who helped to sponsor this event. A special “thanks” to the Town of Winnsboro, Shady Grove Independent Church, Blackjack Baptist Church, Betty Joe Dorsey (Wayman AME Church) and Mamie Banks Bonner.
