Downtown Third Thursday is a hoping good time for all ages.

Its that time again. The Fairfield Chamber of Commerce presents its Third Thursday this Thursday at 6 p.m.

If you missed it last time, karaoke will be back at the gazebo.

Also, this week in honor of movie night, there will be a Puss and Boots costume contest.

Contestants must visit Abba’s Sweet Treats and Gift Boutique, Yellow Daisy, Cornwallis Tea Company (beside Yellow Daisy); and Petal Pushers uptown.

Judges will be in each shop to judge the costumes. First, second and third place will be announced at 7:15 pm, as well as honorable mention.

There will also be information at the event about The Big Grab 25 Mile Yard Sale and Rock Around the Clock.

The summer movie series sponsored by the Town of Winnsboro and the Fairfield Chamber of Commerce will continue at 8:40 p.m. with the showing of Puss and Boots.

Bring your chairs or blankets to enjoy this movie under the stars.

In case of rain, the movie will be rescheduled for a later date.

There has been a change to the movie schedule as well.

Joyful Noise will not be shown. Instead, Puss and Boots will be displayed on the big screen.
