Fans will be able to attend all 2012 Newberry College home volleyball matches free of charge, as announced by interim director of athletics Matt Finley on Monday.

The Wolves will host 10 matches in Eleazer Arena this season.

Newberry returns six starters from its 2011 NCAA Tournament team and is under the direction of first-year head coach Todd Hay.

First team preseason all-South Atlantic Conference pick Samantha Parrish and second team preseason all-SAC selection Lauren Prachar are expected to lead the Scarlet and Gray.

“We hope the elimination of the admission fee for our home volleyball matches will encourage more fans from our great community to come watch our Wolves shoot for a second straight NCAA appearance,” Finley said. “Our ladies will give fans a highly entertaining product and we look forward to an even greater home court advantage.”
