The Town of Ridgeway celebrated its monthly First Friday events on Friday evening.
The event got a huge hand by falling on the opening day of the Big Grab 25 mile yard sale that stretched from Blythewood to Winnsboro.
The streets of Ridgeway were filled with cars and visitors, all shopping and enjoying the dealings that the local shops were offering.
Most of the shops on main street in the town moved items outside onto the side walk to help stir up even more business. Over the Top, Cotton Yard Market, Deanne’s Creations, and Just Around the Corner all offered tables outside with eye catching deals to get shoppers in the door.
Two residents of Ridgeway side that it was their first time attending first Friday, but was glad they had saw the flyer’s for the yard sale because they had found some great deals.
This First Friday saw an increase in pace from last month which hopefully gave the merchants a boost of energy until next month.
