WINNSBORO— The 2-2 Fairfield Central Griffins traveled Friday to take on the 2-2 Cheraw Braves.
The Griffins coming up short to Union 42-40 in the the previous week were looking to win big against the Braves.
Although they suffered a turn over early in the game the Griffins they were able to step up and recover.
Defense held its ground not giving up much and sitting the path for the offense. The trip back home was sweet for the Griffins after their 42-6 victory over the Braves.
The the Griffins are a a half way point for the season and looking forward to their first region game against Columbia High on Friday night.
