The Fairfield Central Lady Griffin’s volleyball team came up short in two recent volleyball games.
On Sept. 18 the Eau Claire Shamrocks had all the lucky bounces go their way in a victory.
The Lady Griffins got off to a good start, winning the first match 25-23.
They dropped the next three matches as the Shamrocks found a groove and won 21-25, 22-25, and 28-30.
On Sept. 20 the Griffins played the Raiders of Keenan High School.
They dropped the first match 23-25. In the second match the Griffins came out ahead 25-21.
The Griffins dropped the next two matches 18-25 and 19-25 as Keenan came out on top.
