JENKINSVILLE — After months of renovating and moving, Jenkinsville town government now has a town hall to call its own. The new location is at 8156 Highway 215 S. in a home that is down the road from where the old town hall was.

Mayor Gregory Ginyard said it has been a long process to get to this point with the facility.

“It was hectic to move and complete these renovations,” Ginyard said.

The home was constructed in the 1920s, so a good deal of work was needed to make it suitable as office and meeting space.

The 7 p.m. Wednesday Jenkinsville Town Council meeting will be held in the new facility. Ginyard encourages the public to come out and see the building which is a step up for Jenkinsville.

This Building/Property is not even within the established "Town Limits" of Jenkinsville. The "Town" of Jenkinsville is nothing more than a way for Mayor Gre Grey to shakedown money from grants, government loans, etc. You think Jenkinsville Water Comapny is a mess - just wait to you see what His Honor does with the "town."
