WINNSBORO — Two would-be robbers, one of whom was armed with a pistol, have been arrested in the town of Winnsboro.

On Sunday, Brenton Lamorris Seibles and Steven Lamar Armstrong went to Jet-Co and while in the parking lot they were seen placing bandannas over their faces,

When a car entered the lot, the pair went behind the store and removed their bandannas.

Both men appeared to be waiting for the car to leave the parking lot before returning from behind the store, according to police.

The police were called and arrived at the store before the men entered.

Seibles was arrested and charged with attempted armed robbery and unlawful carrying of a pistol.

Armstrong was also arrested and charged with attempted armed robbery.
