The following are comprised of reports taken by the Fairfield County Sheriff’s Office. All persons are innocent until proven guilty.

BLACKSTOCK

OCT. 1

An aggravated assault with a knife occurred at a family gathering on Old Douglas Road.

BLAIR

SEPT. 29

A simple assault occurred on Twisted Lane in Blair and the victim wishes to press charges against her attacker.

RIDGEWAY

SEPT. 28

A cell phone was reported stolen at Fairfield Healthcare. The iPhone 3GS was stolen from the nurse’s station.

SEPT. 29

A utility trailer was reported stolen on Rockbridge Road.

OCT. 1

A missing person was seen near St. Mark’s Baptist Church in Ridgeway. Officers assisted in a search for the young female but could not find her. The missing person’s mother called the sheriff’s department Oct. 2 and stated the missing woman had been found that morning at her work place. The sheriff’s office appreciates all assistance in this case which ended in the person being found.

OCT. 3

Two coon dogs were reported stolen off on Smallwoood Road. The large hound dogs answer to Tojo and Buck.

WINNSBORO

SEPT. 27

Household goods including a vacuum cleaner were reported stolen from a home someone was moving into on Chestnut Street.

SEPT. 27

Storage locks were reported cut at a storage building on Highway 321 Bypass. The owner of the storage rental gave the victim another lock but at that time a DVD player was reported as stolen from the facility.

OCT. 2

A subject was arrested for public drunkenness on Golf Course Road and he was transported to the Fairfield County Detention Center.
